The new hide margins feature squeezes out all the whitespace on a webpage. Many websites put empty space around the content or between lines of text. This makes the site really easy to read on a computer, but it is really wasteful when you print it out. Hide Margins lets you fill the pages of your print job with 100% content. I’ve seen sites where simply hiding the margins reduces the print size by half. Hide margins is a bit more zealous than most PWYL features- anything aesthetically pleasing about a webpage will be replaced by a massive block of text.
