How It Works

• Enter the url of any page which will include the button.
  (Ex. http://www.printwhatyoulike.com/blog/2009/02/25/ecofont)
• Use the PrintWhatYouLike editor to format your page for printing.
• Copy and paste the button code into your blog or website.

When someone clicks on the print button on your site, your saved changes will be applied on the current page, converting it to a printer friendly format. This works because most websites only have a couple of page layouts. Blogs typically have one layout for the homepage and one layout for articles. This makes it possible to edit one article for printing, save the changes, and then reapply those changes on any other article with the same layout. Pages with different layouts will require different print buttons.
